Nicotinell Combination Therapy uses Nicotinell Patch and Nicotinell Gum 2mg

  • Compared to single form of NRT, Combination Therapy:
    • is more effective1
    • research shows that it is better than using one Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) product alone1
  • Nicotinell Combination Therapy is less expensive than other leading brands of combination therapy.

Dosage:

Use Nicotinell Step 1 Patch 21mg and chew one piece of Nicotinell Gum 2mg when a craving occurs. Use at least 4 pieces to maximum of 12 pieces a day for 12 weeks. Then, after 12 weeks wean off nicotine replacement therapy using the method in table below. Alternatively, cease use of Patches and gradually reduce the number of Gums used until you no longer need them.

Nicotinell® Chewing Gum contains nicotine (2mg/4mg). Nicotinell® Patches contain nicotine (21mg/14mg/7mg over 24 hours). Helps you stop smoking. Always read the label. Use only as directed. If you have side-effects, see your healthcare professional. Keep out of reach of children. Please read product packaging for further details or ask your pharmacist.
Do not use Nicotinell Chewing Gum or Patches if you are under 12 years of age; if you are a non-smoker or occasional smoker.
Do not use Nicotinell Chewing Gum if your mouth or throat is sore or are allergic or hypersensitive to nicotine or any of the ingredients in the gums
Do not use Nicotinell Patch if you have a generalised skin disorder such as psoriasis or dermatitis; or you have an allergy to nicotine or any component of the patch.
